APsystems EZ1 Dual Parallel Bus Cable — 2m

The 2-metre parallel bus cable for chaining EZ1 microinverters onto a single AC circuit. If you are running more than one EZ1 on a balcony, patio or small ground mount, this is what links them without running a separate cord back to a separate outlet for each unit.

What it does

Each EZ1 arrives with an AC cable terminating in a plug. Two inverters means two plugs and two outlets — quickly impractical on a balcony with one receptacle. The bus cable joins units in parallel so the group presents a single connection to the supply, which is both tidier and closer to how the system is meant to be wired.

Choosing 2m over 4m

Two metres suits units mounted close together — a pair of inverters behind adjacent modules on the same rail, or a compact two-by-two array on a single frame. If your inverters sit at opposite ends of a longer run, or the modules are spread across a wider balcony, take the 4-metre version instead. Cable that is slightly too short is a problem you cannot solve on install day; cable that is slightly too long is just a neat coil.

Before you order

Measure the actual routed path, not the straight line — cable follows the frame, goes around corners and needs a service loop at each connector. Also check the total load on the branch circuit before chaining multiple inverters onto one supply; the number of EZ1 units you can parallel is limited by that circuit, not by the cable.
