Why InCharge Solar exists

Not everyone can put solar on their home the traditional way. Renters, condo owners and people with small or shaded properties have mostly been left out, and a full installation is a big commitment even for those who can.

Plug-in solar changes that. A small system on a balcony, patio or yard plugs into a standard outdoor outlet and starts offsetting what your home uses. We started InCharge Solar to make that simple, safe and legal for Californians.

That means selling complete, compliant kits instead of loose parts, explaining the rules in plain English, and bringing in a licensed electrician whenever a job goes beyond the outlet.

We sell the microinverter and the zero-export meter together, so nobody ends up with hardware they can't legally switch on.

Kits built to be installed right

We focus on the APsystems EZ1-LV, a 120 V North American microinverter that runs two panels and plugs into a standard outlet, paired with the APmeter zero-export smart meter.
